I went to school to become a Certified Massage Therapist more than 18 years ago. I learned about magnetic pain therapy early on in school, but did not study it specifically. I just heard a lot about how well it worked to relieve pain. So whenever I had clients with severe chronic pain I would recommend they give magnetic therapy a try. What I found was that my clients who applied magnetic therapy were reporting more long term pain relief than those who did not so I continued to recommend magnetic therapy to my clients.
Precautions - Consult your Doctor
If you have a pacemaker, defibrillator or if you are pregnant, consult a physician before using magnetic therapy. Some medications may become more effective when using
magnetic therapy and dosage may need to be adjusted by your doctor.
The use of magnets should not replace treatment from qualified medical professionals.
